Cause I Sort Of Like To Try New Things

So we're going to give something new a try over here at Homespun. It's called BlogFrog. It's sort of like having your own Face Book wall or chat space on your blog. The theory is that all of the people stopping by and reading your blog probably have things in common besides that they read your words. The BlogFrog allows you, the readers, to connect and communicate. If you know me at all, you know I'm all about the relationship, so this seemed like a fitting "accessory" to put on the blog. It gives us a space beyond the comments to extend the "conversations", if you will. So, jump in, lets give it a try.

On the other hand, I'm only slightly convinced that I don't just write in a vacuum.

And on that note, the next thing I'm sorting through in my mind. A few days ago I mentioned that I was going to take a class. A long, expensive and somewhat demanding course. Well, as always, I misunderstood.

Two years ago when I began considering this course there was but one single course. Now, there are two. Course B is what I signed up and paid my cash for. Course A is what I thought I was getting and what was offered two years ago. Course B is shorter (12-14 months) and very focused on a single effort. Course A is essentially Course B plus an additional 6 to 8 months of work in yet another concentrated area.

The catch?

Course A, is, of course, twice the cost of Course B.

I'm left feeling undecided. I feel a little bait and switched. I don't think I was and I don't believe this to be a scam in any way, but still, I'm not liking the thought of coughing up double what I wrote my first check for. But wait, there's more. If I take Course B, I cannot later change my mind and "upgrade" to Course A. And, if I take Course B, then later decide I should have taken Course A and want to go back and take that one, it's still the full price and I'm "retaking" the Course B part.

Sigh.

Sometimes I just long for things to be easy. In all areas of my life, I have days where I just want that big red easy button.
