Spring might just have returned. It's been nice for two whole days. Like sandals and go outside nice. Sunny weather and warmth always makes everything seem better.
We've moved on to our next case worker for Little One and I wish I could tell you something, but I can't. I don't have a good read on her or on where the case is at or on where it's going. I'm just going to pray and wait. It all belongs to Him anyway. No sense in my freaking out over anything I can't do anything about any how.
I still don't know if my assignment has been received or not. I'm fast loosing faith in this online class and really starting to hope I didn't just loose a big old chunk of money stupidly chasing a stupid dream.
I'm making my way through The Power of a Praying Parent. Again. It's been a few kids since I've done it and it's well past time to get back. It's one of those books that should be handed out to parents when the baby is handed to the mama for the very first time, even earlier if it can be managed. But, it's never too late.
Ice cream is good. I just discovered late last night that someone marvelous left treats in my freezer. Thank you!
Don't misunderstand yesterday's complaining. The little girl next door isn't some evil little troll. She's just a little girl and her mouth sometimes gets the best of her. Happens to all of us.
We don't know the real details of the fence. We don't know what kind or where exactly it will be. We don't know why it is being put up. I let my mind get the better of me.
Neon orange nail polish is very '80's and way better suited on toes than fingers, but that's too bad.
I watched my very first episode of Glee last night. I'm hooked. It was delicious. Really. But you probably already knew that. TV is pretty low on my priority list of things to do, but the bigger kids and I caught last nights show. I'm thinking we'll be "catching up" on the first few seasons this summer. It seems like the perfect sort of summer TV. It was so perfectly layered with high school memories and nostalgia and that sense of hope we all had way back when.
The city came by yesterday and trimmed all the trees on the side walk grass, now we have tall, leafy sticks instead of big beautiful trees. Oh well. I guess more sun in the front yard is good. They also came around and flushed the fire hydrants. Why they didn't do the trees first and then the hydrants second, I don't know. In my mind, it would have made sense to do one than the other, leaving behind clean streets and saving a run of the street sweeper, but what do I know.
