What Have I Done?

I fear I may have to provide counseling for the entire neighborhood.

Why, you ask?

Because I bought my tweener son an iPod for his birthday.

Now some of you read my Facebook blurbs and may be aware of how "challenged" I am when it comes to operating all things electronic and technological. Yes. It really did take me almost two days to put music on it and make it play. And yes. It really does only have about 10 songs on it right now. And yes, I am still having some glitches, like it seems to be charging my charge card and not taking the songs off my gift card. Sigh. I'll confess though, to trying it on and listening to it. That stinking thing is pretty dang cool. I might just have to get a few more of those for the rest of us.

But none of that, nor even the faces I made while getting that thing started are why I think I'll be providing counseling for all the kids of the hood.

See, my tweener boy, has taken to plugging that iPod into his head and going out to the back deck. That alone is not an issue. The song and dance that follows, well, that on the other hand my friends, is going to become an issue.

Right now he's working diligently at perfecting his personal version of Boom Boom Pow and The Duck Song.

Let me assure you, nothing good can come of this.

And yes. I know all about the cuss words in Boom Boom Pow. That's a thought for another day.

LOL! Hilarious!

I always have those debates about listening to music with the kids.. some of it is just too good to avoid.. like Boom Boom Pow. lol I also am a closet Ke$ha fan.. her stuff is horrible for little ears, but oh so good for my dancing needs!

There is a "clean" version of Boom Boom Pow that Aidyn absolutely LOVES!!! The cuss words are obscured so that I wasn't even aware that they were there until I looked up the lyrics.
Lots better than "I Gotta Feeling" in my opinion...harder to obscure entire philisophies of life.
