Can't Remember A Thing

I'm having a writers block sort of day.

I know there was something I was going to write you about, but somehow, I just plain lost it.

That's how my mind is sometimes. It's there, then it's gone.

It's a sort of scattered week anyway.

Only 4 days of school, which means our school week is almost over already.

Then spring break.

It's good. The kids are ready for a break, but it also means that I only have a short amount of time to get things pulled together before it's summer. Plus, even though I've had a few really productive days making phone calls and wading through paper, there is still a back log.

I hate doing it. I'm lazy about doing it. Then it is worse because I've been lazy.

I know, I know, "Go ugly early". If I'd just deal with everything faster and more directly it'd be easier. But, it isn't my nature.

I'm undisciplined at heart. Or lazy. Whatever way you want to label me.

There isn't much to tell. I've got a half plan for an Easter dessert/treat as that is the part of the celebration I'm handling this year. I'm still debating how I'm going to round it out. I'd love to tell you about it, but then it would spoil the surprise of it for my family, so you'll just have to wait. The only hint I'll give is that my family spends way too much time watching the food channel.

Although, not right now. See I got mental a few days ago and banned TV for the entire family. I still can't decide if that is good or bad. I'm thinking mostly good. I'm not sure when I'll be lifting it. That means if you see The Mr. be nice about the basketball playoffs that he's now missing. Better yet, invite him over to watch at your place. Or come and baby sit the kids and we'll make a date at the sports bar to watch the games.

Sigh. A date. I've heard of those things.

Next up, because The Mr. stays caught up on our life by reading here, I'll give an update or two. I found the missing checks and they went to the bank. I killed a large horrible bug but left the body for you, remind me about it.

There was something else on the tip of my mind, but again, it's gone. Wonder what it was.
